Our Mission
Since 1992, The mission of the Islamic Center of Reading, PA is to serve the religious needs of the Muslims within the Berks County Area by providing a place for worship, establishing a center for educational services for its community members, and to serve as a resource for those interested in learning about Islam and Muslims.

For the well-being of our community and to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 infection, please observe the following...
Before arriving, PLEASE...
• If you are sick or feeling ill, STAY HOME!
• Arrive early (before the khutbah) to find space
• Provide your own rug (and Do not share rugs with others) ** or pray on a provided disposable mat
• Bring your own face mask or covering
When you arrive, PLEASE...
• Your temperature will be taken before you enter ** anything above 100.1 F will be asked to return home
• Prayer spots will be identified and marked on the floors
• Limit long conversation, handshaking & hugging
• Maintain a minimum of 6-ft social distance
• Use hand sanitizers and other provided disinfectants
