اللَّهُمَّ اَصُوْمُ لَكَ فَاغْفِرْلِيْ مَاقَدَّمْتُ وَمَا اَخَّرْتُO Allah! I shall fast for Your sake, so forgive my future and past sins.
Tarawih Prayer will begin Tuesday, February 17, 2026, immediately after Ishaa prayer, and the first day of Ramadan will be Wednesday , February 18, 2026.
Ramadan Mubarak! to all our brothers and sisters in the Reading and Berks County community. We pray that this blessed month brings peace, mercy, and prosperity to you and your families.
Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:183):
“O you who have believed, fasting has been prescribed upon you as it was prescribed upon those before you, that you may become righteous.”
And in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:185):
“The month of Ramadan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.”
Ramadan is the best month of the year to increase in worship, generosity, and compassion. Let us not hesitate to spend for the sake of Allah and to support one another with kindness and charity. May Allah forgive our shortcomings, accept our fasting and recitation of the Holy Qur’an, and grant us the strength to pray Tarawih consistently.
May Allah protect us from Shaytan and his followers. Ameen.

Since 1992, the Islamic Center of Reading, PA, has dedicated itself to serving the religious needs of Muslims within the Berks County Area. Our mission is threefold:

ICORPA Sunday School
ICORPA Sunday School offers engaging and educational classes for children aged 5 and above, nurturing their understanding of Islamic values and teachings in a supportive environment.
Zakat (Almsgiving) Distribution
ICORPA facilitates the distribution of Zakat, embodying the Islamic principle of charity and compassion. Our service aims to assist those in need within the community, promoting solidarity and providing support to the less fortunate. Through our Zakat distribution, we strive to uphold the values of generosity and social responsibility prescribed by Islam.
Janazah (Body Preparation, Funeral, & Burial) Services
During times of mourning, ICORPA offers compassionate assistance for the preparation, funeral rites, and burial of deceased Muslim individuals, providing support and guidance to grieving families in accordance with Islamic customs.
Nikkah & Walimah (Wedding) Ceremonies
ICORPA extends its support for couples embarking on the sacred journey of marriage by providing assistance for both Nikkah and Walimah ceremonies. Our team ensures these joyous occasions are conducted with reverence, adhering to Islamic traditions, and fostering an atmosphere of celebration and unity within the community.
